EMC’s India Growth Plans
Now a day, what is your “India strategy” is a regular question faced by any international company worth the name. Expansion into Indian market and investments in India are now a top priority for many companies. Microsoft TCS Virtualization center is one such example. EMC, a leading provider of information infrastructure solutions will be making an incremental investment to the tune of Rs. 7273 crores in the nextfive years. The quantum of invest is highest for any of EMC’s venture outside of US. The investment focuses on the following key areas
- Expansion of research and development ( R & D) infrastructure
- Increasing global services capabilities and
- Adding more technologies for deeper levels of engagements for local customers and partners
- In a new initiative integrates EMC’s four global centers from four separate locations across two cities into one campus to be housed in its newly built employee facility with a capacity to accommodate 3500 employees in Bangalore.
