DigiLocker

DigiLocker was launched underneath the Digital India initiative. It was launched by the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), Government of India. Through this app an individual can save all their certificates in digital format right here. These embody driving license, car registration, mark sheet and so on.

DigiLocker supplies an account within the cloud to each account holder in order that paperwork will be verified. 1 GB of storage is supplied in every account. To use DigiLocker, customers will need to have an Aadhaar quantity. Aadhaar quantity and one-time password despatched to the Aadhaar-registered cellular quantity should be entered to sign-up

DigiLocker (English)

DigiLocker is a key initiative under Digital India, the Indian Government’s flagship program aimed at transforming India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. DigiLocker ties into Digital India’s visions areas of providing citizens a shareable private space on a public cloud and making all documents / certificates available on this cloud.




Targeted at the idea of paperless governance, DigiLocker is a platform for issuance and verification of documents & certificates in a digital way, thus eliminating the use of physical documents. Indian citizens who sign up for a DigiLocker account get a dedicated cloud storage space that is linked to their Aadhaar (UIDAI) number. Organizations that are registered with Digital Locker can push electronic copies of documents and certificates (e.g. driving license, Voter ID, School certificates) directly into citizens lockers. Citizens can also upload scanned copies of their legacy documents in their accounts. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using the eSign facility

டிஜிலாக்கர் டிஜிட்டல் இந்தியாவின் கீழ் ஒரு முக்கிய முயற்சியாகும், இது இந்திய அரசாங்கத்தை டிஜிட்டல் முறையில் அதிகாரம் பெற்ற சமூகமாகவும் அறிவு பொருளாதாரமாகவும் மாற்றுவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்ட இந்திய அரசாங்கத்தின் முதன்மை திட்டமாகும். டிஜிலொக்கர் டிஜிட்டல் இந்தியாவின் தரிசனப் பகுதிகளுடன் குடிமக்களுக்கு பொது மேகத்தில் பகிரக்கூடிய தனியார் இடத்தை வழங்குவதோடு, இந்த ஆவணத்தில் அனைத்து ஆவணங்கள் / சான்றிதழ்களையும் கிடைக்கச் செய்கிறது.
