Digital India Services Spectrum

Digital India system is deployed to serve citizens online. The range of services available is deep and wide. Deep because services number in thousands and wide because they address new born (Bala Aadhaar) to aging pensioners (Jeevan Pramaan)

Here's a simple grouping or classification of Digital India services for general understanding.

1. Core Services:  These  Services are meant for every citizen - Aadhaar, birth certificate, Digilocker 

2. Essential services : services that are designed for simplifying resident life - Digilocker - a cloud based documents repository

3. Sectorial Services: These are meant for  specific purpose and hence for a section of society - Udyog Aadhaar for enterprises, NPTEL for learners and more.

4. Services for employees or professional- such as PAN , Income tax services 

5. Ancillary services- These are service to address requirements necessitated by changes in citizen context- change of address or phone number in Aadhaar
